    Authorities say hydrogen cyanide was found at Ashburton's St Joseph's School last week, sending four people to hospital


    Emergency services responded to the Havelock Street premises on Friday after children fell ill.

    Fire and Emergency has confirmed a low reading of the highly toxic and flammable chemical in the school's church.

    Its source hasn't yet been identified.
