Discus thrower Connor Bell is fizzed after a perfect few days culminated in Olympic selection

Discus thrower Connor Bell is fizzed after a perfect few days culminated in Olympic selection

Bell bettered his own national record at a meet in Oklahoma, in an event where the world record also fell.

His heave of 68.1 metres confirmed an automatic qualifying mark for this year's Olympics and was on Friday confirmed in the 15-strong squad.
