Sarah Paulson has a tattoo dedicated to Diane Keaton

The 51-year-old actress unveiled her inking - a small "DK" in black ink on her wrist - on Instagram on Monday (05.01.26), the day that would have been Diane's 80th birthday.

Captioning the photo of the tattoo, as well as a silhouette shot of her and Diane - who died of pneumonia on October 11, 2025 - looking out to the ocean at sunset, Sarah penned: "You would have been 80 today.

"Too many deep feelings to put here ... I was the luckiest person in the world to have traveled, laughed so hard we cried, watched a million and one movies, really cried, and eaten French fries with you.

"You. You. Wondrous, singular, YOU. I will miss you till the end of time. (sic)"

Sarah - who first met Diane on the set of the 1999 comedy-romance film, The Other Sister, in which the late star played Sarah's alter ego's (Heather Tate's) mom, Elizabeth Tate - then tagged in Los Angeles-based tattoo artist, Winterstone, into the post.

She thanked the body artist - real name Daniel Winter - for the "forever reminder, of one of my forever people".

Daniel also shared some photos of Sarah getting the tattoo on his Instagram account, and he captioned the post with: "@mssarahcatharinepaulson you are an incredible friend!

"What you did for your people in time of heavy grief was just Amazing! Happy I got to share that moment with you! (sic)"

Elsewhere, Diane's children, daughter Dexter, 30, and son Duke, 25, whom she adopted in 1995 and 2000, respectively, also marked their mom's 80th birthday with a sweet tattoo tribute done by Winterstone.

Dexter took to Instagram and shared two pictures to mark the Oscar winner's milestone birthday, with the first being the mom-and-daughter duo

hugging as they looked out to the ocean during the daytime.

And the second photo was a shot of her and Duke's arms together as they showed off the new black-ink pieces of body art.

Her brother's tattoo read: "Weird old world," while Dexter's says: "La Di Da."

Dexter captioned the overall post with: "I miss you, mom. Thank you @winterstone for my forever reminder of my wonderful mom. (sic)"

She also took to her Instagram Stories where she shared a photo of her black-and-white, polka-dotted nails - a nod to Diane's style.

Dexter wrote over the image: "Happy heavenly birthday, momma."
