    Police are considering further charges after a 46-year-old man died days after being assaulted outside a Napier night club


    Police were called at around 1am Sunday to West Quay in Ahuriri where Andy Winitana was found unresponsive on the ground.

    He died yesterday in hospital - prompting police to launch a homicide investigation.

    A 21-year-old man has already appeared in Napier District Court charged with wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.

    He is due to reappear in three weeks.
