    A homicide investigation is underway after a man was shot dead in south Auckland overnight


    Emergency services sped to Darnell Crescent in Clover Park at about 10.30pm.

    their scene examination and inquiries have conytinued throughout the day today

    Detective Inspector Tofilau Faa Vaaelua says they're still trying to establish exactly what happened and why.

    Earlier this month police were investigating a sudden death in the same suburb, which happened after reports of a shoot-out.
