Allegations of racial abuse have marred Penrith's 18-12 NRL win over the Warriors in Gosford.

Eight people were ejected from the match for allegedly racially abusing Penrith winger Brent Naden.

Panthers coach Ivan Cleary says the 24-year-old told club staff the abuse was persistent and he was shaken by the behaviour, which came to a head towards the end of the first half.

The Warriors remain 11th on the ladder with Penrith back on top.

Meanwhile the Dragons have upset the Eels 14-12.

The Blues were resigned early in the week to not facing the Crusaders at Eden Park on Sunday.

The match has been cancelled, with Auckland to remain in level three for a further 12 days.

Chief executive Andrew Hore says when the initial announcement happened on Tuesday, there was a sense of the inevitable.

Lydia Ko is five shots off the pace in a tie for 13th after two rounds of the LPGA's Scottish Open in Troon.

The cycling world has been left shocked by the gruesome injuries revealed by star riders, including stage winner Primoz Roglic, after a freak hail storm in the middle of the Criterium du Dauphine in France.

And Bayern Munich looks headed for the Champions League semi finals... leading Barcelona 5-2 late in the second half of their quarter final in Lisbon.
