Hilary Duff posted a touching tribute to her daughter Banks on her second birthday (25.10.20)

The 33-year-old actress - who is expecting her second child with Banks' father Matthew Koma - took to Instagram to share sweet throwback snaps of her little girl in a video to mark the milestone

The former 'Lizzie McGuire' star - who also has Luca, eight, with ex-husband Mike Comrie - gushed about how "confident and curious" her daughter is and swooned over her "smile and bright eyes".

She captioned the slideshow: "My love, my sweet sweet angel girl.

"Thank you!!! Two amazing years with your smile and your bright eyes(swoon) It seems you yelled at me, your dad, and bro for most of this time although no one would believe that with all the happiness that pours from you when you smile! Now ...you are curious, at ease, confidant and brave. I love you so so so many times and again. Thanks for choosing us!

"Daddy has all the poetic words.... check his feed in a few years for the good stuff. HAPPY 2 boo boo. (sic)"

Banks' dad - who Hilary tied the knot with in December - also posted a lengthy tribute on his own page on the social media app, in which he said: "It’s the greatest privilege of my life to be your dad and I’m endlessly proud / in awe of the little human you are, and the big human you’re becoming."

The family are also celebrating the news that Hilary and her spouse are set to become parents again.

On Saturday (24.10.20), the couple revealed via Instagram that the 'Younger' actress is pregnant by posting a sweet video of her growing baby bump on the photo-sharing platform.

Alongside the clip of Matthew embracing her baby bump, Hilary wrote: "We are growing!!! Mostly me ... (sic)”
