The Black Caps have ruled all-rounder Colin de Grandhomme out of the test series against the West Indies with a foot injury

The Black Caps have ruled all-rounder Colin de Grandhomme out of the test series against the West Indies with a foot injury

Central Districts spinner Ajaz Patel is out of the first test with a calf injury.

Canterbury's Daryl Mitchell has been called in for de Grandhomme and Mitchell Santner for Patel.

Santner will also captain the Twenty20 side in the final match against the Windies , with Tim Southee to prepare for the tests.

For the first time New Zealand will set the course for a World Cup Giant Slalom race next month in France.

Alice Robinson's Kiwi co-coach Chris Knight will set the course for the first runs at back to back GS's in Courchevel.

Knight says it's a huge honour and all down to the Kiwi's performances.

Free skiier Byron Wells has announced his retirement from the sport.

Wells has had an injury prone career with highlights being wins at the Aspen Open halfpipe in 2015 and 2016.
