    Police in Auckland have arrested a 27 year old man in relation to a serious assault that happened on Friday evening


    The victim was found at a Friedlanders Road address in Manurewa yesterday afternoon.

    He remains in critical condition in Auckland Hospital.

    Police say the victim and the accused know each other.

    The alleged offender has been charged with intent to cause grievous bodily harm and kidnapping.

    He is due in the Manukau District Court tomorrow.
