    How an Ashburton mother-of-seven died in a horror crash with her two young children will be determined by a Coroner


    Chante Harmer died with her eight-month-old and one-year-old son in 2019 -- after their car failed to give way to on oncoming ute, north of Ashburton.

    The sole survivor from Harmer's car - a teen - was critically injured.

    The Coronial inquest into the death begins today in the Ashburton District Court.
