Search teams in Marokopa on the Waikato coast have resumed their attempt to find Tom Phillips and his three children

Search teams in Marokopa on the Waikato coast have resumed their attempt to find Tom Phillips and his three children

The group has been missing since last weekend, when Mr Phillips' ute was found on the beach at Marokopa.

Police say members of the public who are wanting to help should stick to sandy beach areas.

The search area is extremely challenging and police want to avoid a situation where people become injured or trapped.
