    Some west Aucklanders are upset that a notification they received on Thursday from Auckland Transport saying bus passengers could now enter by the front door is apparently being ignored by some operators or drivers


    Regular bus patron May says entry during alert levels four and three was restricted to the back door, but passengers were told that front doors were open again from last Friday.

    She says on the 14t Henderson to Westgate on Friday morning and on the one-one-oh Westgate to the city yesterday morning and again this morning, passengers went to the front door but it remained shut and they had to enter at the rear.

    May says Auckland Transport's notification is misleading if operators or drivers decide to ignore it.

    Auckland Transport has been asked to comment.
