Queensland are hoping to weaponise Kalyn Ponga in their bid to wrestle back the State of Origin title

The Newcastle Knights captain will start at fullback for the Maroons tonight as they look to close out the series against the Blues.

Queensland centre Valentine Holmes says Ponga's found his feet in Origin.

Kick off in Perth is at 9:50.
