The hard work is only just beginning for the New Zealand netball team

The hard work is only just beginning for the New Zealand netball team

Dame Noeline Taurua has named her team of 12 for next month's Birmingham Commonwealth Games.

Wing attack Gina Crampton will captain the side with former skipper Ameliaranne Ekenasio being named as a reserve.

Crampton says they've got a five day training camp coming up, which will be physically and mentally testing.

Notable omissions from the team are midcourters Maddy Gordon and Sam Winders who have previously worn the black dress.
