???1;Crusaders coach Rob Penney's downplaying any revenge narrative heading into tonight's Super Round tussle with the Waratahs at Melbourne

He was shown the door by the New South Wales franchise five weeks into the 2021 season, having guided them to just five wins from 18 matches.

Penney was appointed by then Waratahs CEO Andrew Hore - before his sudden departure to the Blues.

He's been asked if he wants to see his current side stick it to his old mob.

Kickoff is at 9.35pm - we'll have live commentary on Gold Sport and iHeartRadio.
