Praise for a sevens player returning to the Olympics after a harrowing three years

Andrew Knewstubb has been named in the New Zealand men's squad for the Games - after ACL knee ruptures in 2022 and 2023.

At one point he played fewer than 20 games for New Zealand in four years, due to Covid disruptions and the injury toll.

Coach Tomasi Cama has paid tribute to Knewstubb's work ethic.
