Two-time Olympic champion Eric Murray believes Ellesse Andrews has cemented her status as one of New Zealand's all-time great track cyclists - but will fly even higher

The 24-year-old won gold in the keirin and sprint at the Paris Olympics, plus silver as part of the sprint team.

Murray says New Zealand's historically favoured the endurance events, but now are succeeding more in sprint.
