Bonnie Wright feels as if 'Harry Potter' is its own supportive "community"

The 33-year-old actress played Ginny Weasley in all seven blockbuster adaptations of J.K Rowling's magical book series alongside Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, and Rupert Grint and reflected that almost 25 years on from the release of the first film, fans find a sense of "belonging and purpose" within the franchise

Speaking as part of a panel alongside her co-stars James and Oliver Phelps at Mega Con in Orlando, Florida, she said: "There are a lot of people who don't love people for who they are at this moment. 'Harry Potter' can feel like a community - we're in one now.

"So it's nice to recognise the circles we exist in and how they give you a sense of belonging and purpose, or [help you] feel seen!"

Away from her career, Bonnie is married to Andrew Lococo and has son Elio, 17 months, with him but recently revealed that her significant other had never seen her most famous films when they met.

She told Us Weekly: "He hadn't actually seen any of the films before we met, so we haven't finished all of them. We did it a bit out of order when, randomly, we went once with all our family to one of those city concerts they do where you listen to the score while you watch it.

"So, he'd only got up to, like, 'Goblet of Fire', and then we suddenly went to watch 'Deathly Hallows Part 1', and I was like, 'You have missed a vital section!' So we need to go back a bit. But he's never read the books, so I hope he can be part of it with our son. I'm sure he will."
