Courteney Cox has hailed Jennifer Aniston as a "friend for life" in a birthday post

The 60-year-old actress played Monica Geller on the classic 1990s sitcom 'Friends' whilst Jennifer starred as waitress Rachel Green and as her co-star turned 56 on Tuesday (11.02.25), she took to social media late in the evening to send her best wishes to her "beautiful and loyal"pal

She wrote on Instagram: "Happy birthday to my friend for life. Never has there been a more generous, loving, beautiful, talented, funny, loyal friend.

"I feel so lucky to be growing up with you.

    "Remember our CATS audition?"

'Friends' ran from 1994 until 2004 and also starred Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, David Schwimmer, and the late Matthew Perry, who passed away in October 2023 at the age of 54.

When Courteney turned 60 last June, Jennifer was quick to share a post of a similar nature, where she noted that she "cannot imagine" a life without the 'Scream' actress in it.

She wrote: "Celebrating this powerful, magical, mystical, interesting, interested, ferociously talented girl today!!! My sweet CC @courteneycoxofficial.

"She's funny like no other, STUNNING on the inside and out. Independent in the most gorgeous way, cares for everyone even if she doesn't know you.

"I can't imagine a world without her. It's one of my great honors to call her one of my best friends for life... Happy happy birthday CC. I love you! [heart emoji]."

Last year, Courteney revealed that Jennifer had taken a lot of her costumes from 'Friends' and tried to pass them off as something she had worn on the series.

Speaking on the 'Fashion Neurosis' podcast, she said: "She took a lot of Monica's dresses, and she'll say, 'Oh yeah, I used to wear this on Friends

"And I mean, it looks great on her. She has a great figure and she's adorable. But I'm like, 'Why would you take this floral little prairie dress from 'Friends'?' But she holds on to everything!"
