    Sir Russell Coutts is hopeful Auckland will become an annual fixture on the SailGP calendar with talks of a six-year deal on teh cards


    The City of Sails hosted the event for the first time in January which provided a huge boost to the local economy.

    Coutts said the make-up of those six years was still being discussed, with the potential of a four-year commitment with a two-year right of renewal an option alongside a straight six-year deal.
