Meghann Fahy "cried" when she met Taylor Swift

The 'White Lotus' actress is a huge fan of the 'Cruel Summer' singer and she couldn't keep her emotions in check when they crossed paths

Speaking to Britain's HELLO! magazine, she shared: "I got to meet her at an event.

    "I cried - just a little bit. Now I'm a huge fan."

Despite having enjoyed career success before starring in the second season of 'The White Lotus', Meghann admitted the satire took her fame to new heights.

She said: "[My life] changed a lot.

"I do get recognised but it doesn't happen so much that it's a huge imposition.

"The people who do come up to me are so nice and so positive about 'The White Lotus' and what the show means to them. I feel lucky to have that positive interaction.

"That's part of the reason I love what I do. Connecting with people in that way feels special, but I get embarrassed because it always comes as a shock to me that anyone knows who I am."

The former 'Bold Type' star - who is dating Leo Woodall - isn't interested in fame.

She said: "I never planned to be an actor. I don't have big dreams of winning fancy awards or being a famous person. I just love making things."

Meghann can next be seen in 'Drop', a horror in which she plays a widowed mother, Violet, whose first date in years takes a terrifying turn, and the actress particularly enjoyed doing her own stunts for the first time.

She said: "It was tough but I was excited.

"It was like nothing else I had done before. I loved it."

The actress believes "everyone" can connect to the story.

She said: "It's about real life and what it would feel like to have to make a choice that feels too big to make.

"That is the horror of this story and something I think everyone can connect to."
