Humiliation on the banks of the Humber for Manchester United

Humiliation on the banks of the Humber for Manchester United

Fourth-tier Grimsby Town have stunned the Red Devils 12-11 on penalties in football's League Cup second round, pulling off one of the biggest upsets in the club's history.

Bryan Mbeumo stepped up to keep United in the match on Bein Sports.

United had rallied from 2-nil down to send the match to penalties.

A shoot-out went through each player from the two sides before Mbeumo's miss.
