Primary school teachers are voting over the weekend and early next week on a new Government pay offer

Educational Institute members are being offered up to a 4.7-percent increase within 12 months for those at the top of their pay band.

The rest would receive annual pay increase above inflation.

However the institute says this comes nowhere close to addressing the pay equity claim scrapped by the Government in May.
