Police fear a kayaker may be missing off the Kapiti Coast after an unattended kayak and personal belongings were discovered

They say they were found about 500 meters off Raumati Beach at midday today.

A piece of clothing has also been found on the beach itself.

Wellington Police would like anyone who recognises their facebook pics of the black hoodie with a rose design or the blue kayak with fishing equipment to contact them.
