Twice convicted double murderer Mark Lundy's release conditions have eased - after he's proved he can comply

The 66 year old walked free in May - after more than 23 years behind bars for killing his wife Christine and daughter Amber in Palmerston North in 2000.

The Parole Board says, given public interest, Lundy can now speak to journalists and respond to media requests, and can access social media sites - but can't post or create a profile.

He's banned from porn and dating sites, and can't enter Hastings, Manawatu, Rangitikei, and Nelson.
