    Record numbers of first-home buyers are participating in the housing market


    The latest LJ Hooker report shows they accounted for almost 28 percent of all purchases last quarter.

    That's the highest share ever recorded.

    Research Head, Mathew Tiller, says those buyers are taking advantage of affordability, with prices still 15 percent below the peak.
