Miriam Margolyes was so "naughty" in an interview, most of her chat was unbroadcastable

The Harry Potter actress was a "favourite" guest of Capital Breakfast hosts Sian Welby, Jordan North and Chris Stark this year but the trio admitted they "abused" their button to censor her words so much, the audience barely got to hear any of their discussion.

Sian exclusively told BANG Showbiz of Miriam: "Oh she's very naughty."

Jordan agreed: Very naughty, one of our favourite guests this year, we had her on recently."

Sian continued: "Because Miriam, we have a special button for like, when you can't put whatever is being said out on air and we abuse that button, we abused it so much there was only a little bit of that interview that was suitable for our listeners."

The trio have had a host of famous faces on their show and top of their wish list for 2026 is Harry Styles.

Jordan said: "We want Harry Styles on the show in the New Year, there is rumours he's working on a new album, so we want him on the show, I think if we can get Harry Styles on the show we will be happy."

Meanwhile, Sian praised those working behind-the-scenes on their show, insisting they have the "best team in the world".

She said: "Putting on the show, it's a massive collaboration, we have the best team in the world, the best ex ec producer, the best senior producers, and we all come together and after every show plan the next day.

"It's four hours, it's live, it's relentless, it's Saturday Night Takeaway, it's four hours every single day and then the next day we start again and our standards are that high we are trying to make TV look at what we're doing.

"Back in the day it would be the other way round, and now we are sort of trying to keep the TV lot on their toes and go, 'Look at what we're doing over here.' "
