Jamie Lynn Spears says her beauty secrets are "good lighting, tons of make-up and pounds of fake hair"

The 34-year-old actress joked about how much work it takes to look picture perfect, in a new post on Instagram.

She wrote: "good lighting+tons of make-up+pounds of fake hair really make a difference."

This comes after Jamie previously revealed she was diagnosed with adult acne in 2025.

She posted a selfie on Instagram and wrote: "I wish my skin looked like this in real life. I was actually diagnosed with adult acne this year."

She praised her Sweet Magnolias' make-up artist Amber Crowe with helping her to look good onscreen and with encouraging her to visit the dermatologist.

She said: "It's all that movie magic that @ambercrowedoesmakeup whips up to have Noreen looking fresh as a daisy, as well as making JL go to the dermatologist."

Meanwhile, Jamie has spoken in the past about how her Lynne Spears encouraged good skincare habits from an early age.

She told Lookbook: "Our mother always cleaned her face and moisturised her skin every night-no matter what."

And, she also got tips from big sister Britney Spears.

She said: "When I was growing up I always admired Britney's originality when it came to beauty. I went on a stage when I was younger where I wore baggy boyfriend jeans and tank tops - I remember [Britney] loved that and wore the same kinda thing several times, ha! Not our best outfits!"
