Kelsey Parker is trying for a baby in 2026

The 35 year old has daughter Aurelia, five, and son Bodhi, four, with her late husband, The Wanted boy band member Tom Parker - who died from a brain tumour at the age of 33 in March 2022 - and she and her partner Will Lindsay's baby boy Phoenix was stillborn at 39 weeks in June 2025.

Kelsey - who met aspiring musician Will on a night out in Kent, and went Instagram official in September 2024 - is hoping to have a "better year" in 2026, and will continue trying to grow her family.

In the latest episode of her and Georgia Jones' Mum's The Word! podcast, Kelsey said: "I just want a better year because it was really, really tough, it was s***.

"I think continue the path of, 'Is there a baby this year for me?' I could have one this year, which is exciting. Also, I think keep raising awareness, keep doing my charity work."

Phoenix was stillborn at 39 weeks in June, and that month, Kelsey shared a poem about her baby on Instagram, captioned: "Phoenix Parker-Lindsay, you will forever be loved."

The short verse read: "The grew quiet as you arrived, So loved, so longed for, yet not alive. Our precious boy, our angel light, Born with wings, took silent flight'.

"We named you Phoenix, brave and bright. A soul of love, of warmth and light Though we never heard you cry, You'll live in hearts that won't ask why. No breath you drew, no eyes to see, Still, you mean everything to me. You'll journey with us, softly near, In every sigh, in every tear. (sic)"

And five months later, she opened up about her devastation in a video that was posted to her Instagram account.

In the footage, Kelsey said: "Hi everyone, how are you all? I feel like I've been a little bit quiet, but you know what, that's ok. It's ok to not be ok all the time."

She continued: "We live in this world where everyone's just trying to look like they've all got it figured out.

"Strength means smiling for everything, sometimes strength means being still - it means saying, I just need quiet for a little bit.

"Sometimes I just need calm, I just need space to breathe, to let my thoughts settle, to find myself again because life doesn't stop and for me, it never really has.

"I've literally had the children and raised them, and I've had to show up every single day - sometimes I struggle.

"Sometimes I literally feel like I'm holding the whole world with my bare hands, but it's the only thing I've ever known how to do.

"It's pushing forward, it's keeping on going even when it's hard, even when I am tired, because my babies are watching me, they're learning from me, they are my reason, my peace and my power. I'm not ok, but I don't have to be. None of us do."

Kelsey added: "What matters is that I keep moving, keep loving, keep believing that better days are coming. And they are, they've got to be."

On Christmas Eve, she took to social media and shared a photo of a new plaque installed on Tom's memorial bench that features Phoenix's name.

The new plaque reads: "I walk towards my destiny with ease. Phoenix Parker-Lindsay."
