Paris Hilton is "so proud" of her Infinite Icon documentary

The 44-year-old socialite's documentary film Infinite Icon: A Visual Memoir will be released in cinemas later this month and she is thrilled to have had the chance to tell her "powerful" life story to the masses.

Paris told People: "I am just so proud of it. It's such a powerful story, and I think being an 'infinite icon' is about inspiring others to be authentic and to own their narrative and to make a difference in the world."

According to The Simple Life star's website, Infinite Icon - which shares its name with her 2024 album - traces her "music journey - from her childhood dreams to her club-going adolescence, from her debut album to her musical reinvention - weaving together concert footage, unfiltered moments, archival clips, never-before-seen home videos, original narration, and new interviews".

The synopsis adds: "Paris showcases how music 'saved her life' following her abuse in troubled teen treatments and by the media in the early 2000s. Each chapter draws the audience in deeper, blending documentary storytelling with immersive visuals to chart the evolution of a unique pop culture phenomenon."

Despite her family's vast wealth, Paris claimed last year that she is "self-made" as she takes pride in what she has achieved with her company 11:11 Media - which employs 25 people and she says is valued at $1 billion.

She told The Times newspaper: "I'm self-made. Like, I've done this all on my own.

"No one's ever given me anything in my entire life."

Paris explained how her late grandfather Barron Hilton - who is believed to have left 97 per cent of his wealth to the family's charity when he died in 2019 - was amazed by her work ethic and how the pair had an "extremely close" relationship.

The Stars are Blind hitmaker said: "We were extremely close and we would always have lunches and dinners, and he would always say to me, 'Paris, you work harder than any CEO I know.'

"And he's, like, 'I used to be known as Barron Hilton but now I'm known as Paris Hilton's grandpa.' We would always laugh about it."
