A Police forensic examination's underway after a shooting in Waitarere Beach near Levin

A man's died, and two older teenage males and a woman are a critical condition.

The first reports of gunfire came in about 12.40am.

The teenagers have been flown to Wellington Hospital, and the woman's been taken by ambulance to Palmerston North Hospital.

Police say another young person who was at the address is physically unharmed and being given wrap-around support.

A firearm's been located at the property and Police say they aren't looking for anyone else.
