    Tony Brown has revealed he had discussions with Scott Robertson about joining the All Blacks coaching staff last year


    The former first-five has confirmed he intends to honour his Springboks assistant contract until next year's World Cup, ruling him out of consideration for any New Zealand role.

    Brown says he was disappointed not to hear directly from New Zealand Rugby when he was a part of Jamie Joseph's unsuccessful bid in 2023.

    He's outlined his predicament .
