A sharp rise for New Zealand First in a new poll, and a steep drop for the Greens

The Taxpayers Union/Curia poll has New Zealand First up 3.8 points to 11.9 percent - one of the highest in the decade.

The Greens have fallen 3.1 points to 7.7 percent.

Labour remains the largest party, on 34.4 percent, and National's on 31.5.

Act's on 7 percent, down 1.9, and Te Pati Maori's steady on 3 percent.

These results would let the Coalition hold power with 63 seats.
