Lewis Hamilton has been spending "as much time as possible" with Kim Kardashian ahead of the start of the Formula 1 season - and her mother "really approves" of their romance

The pair made their first public appearance alongside one another at last weekend's Super Bowl, at the Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California, after they were previously romantically linked.

And it's now said Lewis, 41, has been spending a lot of time with The Kardashians star, 45, in Los Angeles before the new F1 season kicks off in March.

A source said: "Kim and Lewis's relationship is intense but they are both keen to keep moving forwards.

"He wants to spend as much time with her as possible, especially as he'll be back getting ready for the new F1 season in a couple of weeks.

"Lewis has been in LA, spending time with Kim and her family."

Kim's mum, Kris Jenner is said to be a huge fan of their romance.

The source added: "They all adore him, especially her mum Kris [Jenner], who has loved having Lewis around.

"They're all really approving of this relationship. They just want to see Kim happy."

Ferrari driver Lewis is now said to be preparing to introduce Kim to his mother, Carmen Larbalestier.

The source added: "Lewis and his mum are incredibly close. Wanting to introduce Kim to Carmen shows how serious he is."

Lewis and Kim were spotted on screen chatting during the Super Bowl, and, in a clip that has now gone viral, it is claimed he was speaking to the businesswoman about introducing her to his mum.

Nicola Hickling, who is the founder of LipReader, told the Daily Mail that Lewis was saying: "No I don't take just any girl to my mom, I mean you're gonna meet someday, she is very excited to see you."

She then claimed Kim "replied with a simple OK".

Kim's loved ones are said to be pleased she has enjoyed a "few dates" with Lewis.

A source recently told Us Weekly magazine: "She has felt ready to put herself back out there recently.

"Everyone around her wants her to be happy after everything she has gone through."

Kim has dated the likes of comedian and actor Pete Davidson and NFL star Odell Beckham Jr since her acrimonious split from ex-husband, rapper Kanye West, while Lewis was previously in a high-profile, on-off relationship with pop star Nicole Scherzinger.
