    February was a bumper month for retailers


    Core retail sales processed through Worldline New Zealand's payment networks reached almost 3.7-billion dollars last month.

    That is up 2.2-percent compared to February 2025.

    Spending in the Auckland - Northland region also jumped 2.8-percent - the largest year-on-year growth in nearly two years.
