Peter Andre is planning a new career as a health and fitness guru

The ‘Mysterious Girl’ hitmaker is launching a diet and exercise channel online, where he aims to advise people on how to enjoy their meals while still staying healthy

He said: “As well as our YouTube channel, 'Life with the Andres', I'll also be launching a fitness and cooking channel. I want to show people they can eat the foods they want and counteract it with exercise and making subtle changes. I've been training since I was 13 so I know all the old and new styles of training and I can help people of all ages and abilities."

And the 47-year-old star may even teach the odd exercise class on the channel.

He added in his new! magazine column: “Here's a bit of trivia for you - I'm also a fully qualified body pump instructor, so you may see a class or two from me on that - but don't expect me to be wearing lycra."

Peter recently vowed to be in the “best shape of [his] life” when he turns 50 in February 2023.

He said: “I've been sharing some clips of myself working out in our home gym. It's a bit of a goal of mine to be in the best shape of my life when I hit 50. I think it's doable. I don't want to rush into my fifties as I still have a couple of years but I'm not scared of it.

"I'm embracing getting older. Look at people like Jennifer Lopez and Elle Macpherson - they're in their fifties and they look incredible. Elle looks as good as she did 30 years ago. Many men look better fitness-wise as they get older too - I want to join that club."
