Two New Zealand long-form birth-cohort studies continue to have global impacts

Two New Zealand long-form birth-cohort studies continue to have global impacts

The Dunedin Multidisciplinary Health and Development Study - and the Christchurch Health and Development Study - have been given an annual grant of two million dollars, for seven years.

They've followed thousands of babies from birth - and produced thousands of reports over more than half a century.

Christchurch Study Director, associate professor James Foulds says this funding recognises the contributions of study members - and will let researchers make the most of that information.

Research from the Dunedin Study featured in the season finale of the Kardashians - when they tried to find their real biological age.
