One of the country's largest KiwiSaver fund managers says its new company will make governments commit to infrastructure

One of the country's largest KiwiSaver fund managers says its new company will make governments commit to infrastructure

Simplicity has announced the launch of InfraKiwi, which will be listed on the NZX, but restricted to New Zealand investment.

It aims to raise billions to buy completed energy, water, transport, data, and social infrastructure.

Simplicity co-founder Sam Stubbs says InfraKiwi could arrange to buy infrastructure once the Government completes it.

He says the would mean subsequent governments will then be obliged to build the infrastructure.
