    Green shoots are once again starting to show through in the economy


    New data from credit bureau service Centrix shows a decline in defaults, liquidations, arrears, and consumers behind on payments.

    Households and businesses to take on more credit, and helping them stay on track with paying it back.

    Westpac chief economist Kelly Eckhold says property investors in particular are returning to the housing market.

    He says lower interest rates are bringing them in.
