    David Corenswet had one disagreement with James Gunn on the set of Superman

    The 32-year-old actor took on the titular superhero in the director's 2025 DC Universe film, but the pair had different ideas when it came to the kiss Clark Kent/Superman shares with Lois Lane (Rachel Brosnahan) at the end of the blockbuster.


    Speaking to fellow actor Jonathan Bailey for Variety and CNN's Actors on Actors series, Corenswet said: "James, when I was doing that chuckle when she says, 'I love you too,' he came up to me and said, 'It's not working. It needs to be solemn.'
