Ant McPartlin has reportedly joined one of Britain's most exclusive celebrity neighbourhoods

After leaving London behind for a multimillion-pound new-build mansion in Surrey, the 50-year-old presenter is now said to be among a roll-call of famous neighbours that includes Sir Cliff Richard, John Terry, Stormzy and Gary Lineker.

According to the Daily Mail, Ant has bought his new rural property for more than £10million - apparently shelling out more than £1million in stamp duty alone.

While the precise private estate has not been disclosed, it is understood to be in the north of Surrey, in an area known for gated developments favoured by high-profile residents.

The move places Ant within easy reach of London as well as Gatwick and Heathrow airports, which will fit in with his ongoing television commitments.

Ant is best known as one half of the long-running presenting duo Ant and Dec, alongside Declan Donnelly, 50, with whom he fronts ITV entertainment shows including I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! and Britain's Got Talent.

He recently signed a £30million ITV "golden handcuffs" deal with Declan, securing the duo's future with the network.

Ant's relocation comes after he sold his Wimbledon home two months ago following a planning dispute with neighbours.

A local resident told the Mail about his move: "Apparently, it is a record sale for the area and it's all anyone is gossiping about. It is one of the prime private estates in an acre of grounds so he shouldn't have trouble with the neighbours any more."

Another local said of seeing Ant out with his family near his new pad: "He looks very content and is always happy to say hello to people who recognise him but I don't think he will be bothered too much around here as we are used to all the celebrities packing out the local hostelries."

Ant lives with his 46-year-old wife Anne-Marie Corbett.

The couple, who married in 2021, welcomed their first child together just over 18 months ago.

Surrey's reputation for prestigious schools, elite golf clubs and high-end dining has long made it attractive to wealthy residents, with adult tickets for privacy and space coming at a premium.

As of January 2026, the average detached house price in the county stood at £963,000, with properties on its most expensive streets averaging £2.63million.

Ant previously denied that he sold his Wimbledon property because of a dispute over plans to fell six protected trees, despite objections from neighbours.

One objection letter stated: "No justification is given for felling these substantial trees, other than the applicant's wish to allow re-landscaping of part of their garden.

"There is no suggestion that any of the trees are dangerous or diseased. The personal whim of the applicant should not override the benefit to the community and the environment in retaining these trees."
