    It's tight in the afternoon fourball session on day two of golf's Ryder Cup but the United States has a near insurmountable lead overall


    The US lead 9-3 after again dominated the morning foursomes, but trail in two of the afternoon fourball matches, lead in one with one match all square.

    Steve Stricker's team need 14 and a half points to regain the Ryder Cup.

    Meanwhile Lydia Ko is seven shots off the pace midway through her second round at the LPGA tournament in Arkansas.

    Ko is two under for her round and five under for the tournament.
