Wallabies and Brumbies playmaker Noah Lolesio has announced he's leaving Australian rugby to play in Japan

Wallabies and Brumbies playmaker Noah Lolesio has announced he's leaving Australian rugby to play in Japan

It throws his participation in the upcoming British and Irish Lions series and 2027 Rugby World Cup into doubt.

Lolesio has signed a one-year deal with a one-year option at an unnamed Japan club.

Lolesio has been the first-choice Wallabies number 10 under current coach Joe Schmidt, starting in nine out of 14 Tests in 2024.
