Kiwifruit exports are dominating our fruit market, as the season wraps with its 60th vessel heading offshore

New data shows fresh and processed produce exports were valued at 6.85 billion dollars in the year to June 2025.

Kiwifruit made up 3.66 billion of the total value, exporting 770-thousand tonnes to 50 different markets.

New Zealand Kiwifruit Growers Chief Executive Colin Bond believes demand is continuing to increase.

He says more hectares are being put in the ground and is confident there's markets for that fruit at good value.
