Kelly Clarkson was once told to get a breast enlargement by a former manager

The 43-year-old pop star has recalled being urged to get a breast enlargement by an ex-manager - but Kelly refused to follow their advice.

The Behind These Hazel Eyes hitmaker told the crowd at her Kelly Clarkson: Studio Sessions concert in Las Vegas: "I had some d*** manager one time tell me to get a boob job. I was like, 'Why don't you get a d*** job?' Like, what? I'm fine with my itty-bitty t******! Get out of here.

"Who says that s***? People say that s***. They say it all the time to people in the industry. They say the craziest s***. I'm like, 'This is not normal. You've normalised crazy.'"

Kelly thinks such important decisions should always be left to the individual.

The chart-topping star said: "Do you. Don't make me do you. I like my itty-bitty t******. They've served me well."

Kelly became the inaugural winner of American Idol back in 2002. At the time, however, Kelly wasn't even aware that the show would be broadcast on national TV.

She previously said on the Not Gonna Lie podcast: "For all of us in that first season, we literally didn't ... I didn't even know it was a TV show until my third audition.

"Like, we were literally trying to pay our bills. We're like, 'Oh, this might work. I might meet someone or whatever.' Nobody knew it was gonna amount to anything.

"We were literally, like, kids - you know, 19 years old just trying to pay my electric bill y'all. You know, and afford the deductible on my car that was bashed in that I couldn't afford. So it was a different thing."

Kelly's American Idol experience propelled her towards stardom - but the pop singer can still remember feeling isolated at the time.

The award-winning star - who now has her own TV chat show - said: "I had no one. I was the first winner. It was hard. Not to sound like, whatever, it was really hard."
