Darts player Haupai Puha has pinned his current target

He will keep his professional tour card for at least a few more weeks after winning a play-off to secure a place at next month's world championships in London.

Puha faced the prospect of losing his spot without qualifying.

However, he will need to reach at least the round-of-16 to guarantee the position next year.

Puha's been drawn against Niels Zonneveld in the first round, while debutant compatriot Jonny Tata will meet Ritchie Edhouse.

Defending champion Luke Littler will begin his title defence against Darius Labanauskas .
