    The Crown believes Jevon McSkimming must have known he was committing crimes, given his position of power


    The former deputy Police Commissioner's sentencing is under way in Wellington District Court.

    McSkimming pleaded guilty last month to three representative charges of possessing objectionable material.

    Today, he's sat in court with arms crossed - showing no emotion as the defence begins Sentencing submissions.
