GDP increased 1.1 percent in the September quarter, surpassing Reserve Bank expectations.
Former Associate Finance Minister Richard Prebble says he's picking steady, consistent growth for 2026.
He says Finance Minister Nicola Willis should double down on some of the policies they've already pursued.
Prebble says there's probably a couple of billion dollars that could be cut.
