    Warriors halfback Luke Metcalf is aiming to stay connected to the group as he goes through rehabilitation

    The number seven claims to be about halfway through his recovery after a serious knee injury in June - and is expected to miss the first quarter of next year's NRL season.

    Metcalf says it's important he's still present for team meetings and talking to players and coaches.
