A call for the urgent return of seven turtles stolen in Hastings

The local District council says the red-eared slider turtles were taken from the Cornwall Park aviary in the early hours of last Saturday.

A large hole measuring around a metre was cut in the aviary's wire enclosure.

A council spokesman says their priority is the welfare of the turtles and their safe return.
